SUMMIT 2020 marks the 25th year of LoveSingapore’s annual prayer retreat for pastors and leaders. Our 2020 theme is Love Never Fails. How are we doing? Are we becoming more like Jesus Christ our Lord, whose Love Never Fails? The Westminster Catechism asserts that man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever. There’s no other way to achieve this than to be Christlike. To LOVE like Christ: Love God by loving His Church, loving our Neighbour, loving the Lost, loving those who oppose us, loving Singapore together! Everyday. In every place. In every circumstance. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not insists on its own way. Love keeps no record of wrongs. Love always hopes. Love always trusts. Summit 2020 brings us back to this good and pleasing and perfect will of God for his Church. Love Never Fails.
峰会2020将是年度爱新加坡牧者与领袖退休会的第25个年头。2020年的主题是「爱是永不止息」。我们的表现如何？我们是否越来越有主耶稣基督的样式，有永不止息的爱呢？卫斯敏特的教理问答声明：「人生的首要目的就是荣耀上帝，以祂为乐、直到永远」。若要达成此目的，效法基督是唯一的方式。效法基督的爱就是：透过爱祂的教会、爱我们的邻舍、爱失丧的人、爱反对我们的人及爱新加坡来一起爱我们的上帝！每时每刻、每个地方、每个境况。「爱是恒久忍耐。爱是恩慈。爱是不求自己的益处。爱是不计算人的恶。爱是凡事盼望。爱是凡事相信」。峰会2020将带领我们回到上帝给予教会的善良、纯全、可喜悦的旨意。「爱是永不止息」。
